The 4 day desert tour Marrakech to Sahara desert starts from the city of Marrakech. Departure towards Ouarzazate crossing the High Atlas, where we will stop to take pictures of the beautiful Berber settlements lost in the middle of the Atlas.
We will pass through a mountain pass with more than 2,260 meters of height, the highest in the whole country. Then we will continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco. Visit of the kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a jewel of the region, declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
It is a fortified village with beautiful crenellated and decorated towers, one of the most beautiful in the Atlas region. We will continue via Ouarzazate and along the road of the Thousand Kasbahs through the Valley of Roses, continuing through the Valley of Dades. We will arrive at Boumalne Dades, a Berber village famous for its towering gorges and its views of the Atlas, now on the horizon. Night in Riad with charm.

In the second day of our Marrakech to Sahara Desert 4 days tour after breakfast we will depart to the Merzouga Sahara desert, Erg Chebbi dunes, through one of the most spectacular places in Morocco: the Gorges of Todra. An ideal place to walk and discover its impressive and natural rocky walls with more than 200 meters high and a crystal clear river that crosses them. We will have time to take a walk through the gorges and then continue towards Merzouga.
Arrival at the hotel where we will change the vehicle for the camels. You will make a lovely trip through the desert of Merzouga on the backs of the camels, in a two-hour journey to the camp, located in the largest dunes in all of North Africa. As in our Marrakech 4 day tour through the Moroccan desert, you will wake up early to enjoy the spectacular sunrise from the dunes. Then you will take the dromedaries back to the hotel where you can wash and have breakfast. We will continue on our way to Ouarzazate through Rissani, where we will stop to visit its traditional medina, which is considered the largest in the South of Morocco. Then we will continue to Alnif, Tazarine and the Draa Valley, with its impressive palm groves. Arrival in Ouarzazate and accommodation at the hotel.

1. Do I need to bring a sleeping bag?
You won't need a sleeping bag on our Morocco tours as for the most part you'll be staying in 3-4 star hotels and our desert camp provides all the bedding you need including pillows and blankets. For your own personal comfort, you may wish to bring a sleeping bag liner to use at the desert camp.
2. How long is the camel trek in the Sahara?
We journey there by camel for an authentic Berber experience. The camel trek is about an hour and a half. If you prefer to walk then you can walk alongside our camel caravan but bear in mind that walking in sand can be tiring.
3. Is there another option if I do not want camel riding?
Yes, travellers who are not intrested in camel ride and want to spend night in the desert, we transfer them by 4WD to the desert camp.
4. What is the standard of hotels on your trips?
