Our Merzouga Sunset Camel ride across desert dunes allows you to feel and explore the beauty of the vast Erg Chebbi Desert. The 35 minute Camel ride draws you close to the charming Merzouga dunes which is wrapped up in an ambience of serenity.
Merzouga Sunset Camel trekking tour will begin at least a 40 min before the sun goes down. We ride a camel about 35 minutes, we let the camels down the big dune and we climb to wait for the sunset. Then again by the camel back to the departure piont.
At your Sunset in Merzouga you can request the Sand boards with extra charge of 5€ per person. And combing the sandbording activity with a stunning sunset in sand dunes of Erg Chebbi Sahara.

There are two different types of tents in desert and they are all private : Standard normal tents and Luxury desert tents. Normal: black nomadic tents without shower and WC for share. Luxury white big tent with WC and shower hot water inside thetent and quality.
You won't need a sleeping bag on our Morocco Camel tours as you'll be staying in our desert camp provides all the bedding you need including pillows and blankets...
If you choose to spend a night in the Sahara, we journey there by camel for an authentic Berber experience. The camel trek is about an hour and a half. If you prefer to walk then you can walk alongside our camel caravan but bear in mind that walking in sand can be tiring.
The average group size depends on number of reservations in your date, but the capacity of our desert camp is 12 pax (Small group only).
Yes, travellers who are not intrested in camel ride and want to spend night in the desert, we transfer them by 4WD to the desert camp.
Spring (March - May) and autumn (September - November) are the best times to visit Morocco. At these times of the year you can expect pleasant temperatures and plenty of sunshine. The landscape is particularly lovely in spring when it's green and lush while autumn provides the best weather conditions for trekking.
